Sorelle, or ‘sisters’, is an innovative new all-female operatic group created to revitalise the image of the women of opera – the queens, heroines and lovers – and

restore them to their rightful place in the public imagination.

The trio of Megan Strachan, Katie Blackwell and Olivia Bell joined forces after touring with the Oxford-based company Opera Anywhere on their production of Puccini’s all-female Suor Angelica. Following a sold-out debut concert in Nailworth, Sorelle were invited to perform in the Stroud Shakespeare Festival and in this summer’s Headington Music Festival in Oxford. Further concerts this year in Oxford and London are planned, and Sorelle are also delighted to begin working with their first corporate clients over the summer for bespoke events. performances and events.
